About The Position

The Director of Behavioral Health, Intake, in conjunction with the CEO or designee, coordinates the pre-admission assessment process and provides clinical assessments for identified patients. Also, assists with community education around clinical issues and participates with community events such as meetings related to access. Provides clinical and supervisory oversight to the Intake team and staff. Coordinates with facility team members, leaders and providers for a smooth and seamless admission and assessment process.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an acute behavioral health setting.
  • 3 years' experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing level of care assessments.
  • Experience in admissions/intake in a behavioral health program/facility.
  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Nursing.
  • RNs require a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an inpatient setting with demonstrated ability and competency to complete level of care assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience in a multi-site healthcare environment.
  • 1+ years of demonstrated leadership in a behavioral health intake setting.
