About The Position

The Investor Relations role focuses on managing all aspects of the Investor Relations function for the Credit Platform within the wealth channel, particularly for the Apollo Debt Solutions BDC. The position involves formulating and updating strategic messages for both prospective and existing BDC investors, creating effective presentation materials, and writing product content. The role also includes coordinating with institutional direct lending product teams, managing investor-focused fund documents, and leading competitive intelligence efforts. The candidate will engage with prospective investors and manage external dialogues with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Fund Marketing and/or Investor Relations.
  • Extensive knowledge of BDC fund structures.
  • Familiarity with the wealth distribution channel preferred.
  • Substantial financial/investment analytical experience.
  • Proven experience working across organizational teams to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities and research skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create concise and accurate presentations of investor communications.
  • Strong sense of initiative, high energy level, and outstanding work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with members of the Client & Product Solutions team and investment professionals to manage all aspects of the Investor Relations function for the Credit Platform.
  • Formulate, update and strengthen Apollo's strategic messages to prospective and existing BDC investors.
  • Write product content and refresh materials consistently to support sales teams and investment professionals.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and information relayed externally with institutional direct lending product teams.
  • Coordinate review meetings with senior management to inform quarterly processes and synthesize into external messaging.
  • Plan and execute client engagement activities in conjunction with client coverage and/or investment professionals.
  • Refine and build Apollo's strategy for engaging with prospective investors in the wealth channel.
  • Act as the point person for distribution partners' due diligence requests and routine performance updates.
  • Manage drafting and updating of investor-focused fund documents and filings.
  • Lead peer analysis and competitive intelligence efforts within the direct lending and BDC space.
  • Strategize with investment teams to ensure funds are operating optimally and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing external dialogue with constituents beyond fund shareholders.
  • Support the investment team with ad hoc projects to influence best-in-class dialogues with clients.
