Automotive Autonomous SW Program Manager position to develop, define, and to execute plans of record, which includes: schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from inception through commercialization by tracking to key milestones, managing dependencies and deliverables, interfacing and coordinating with cross functional teams as well as 3rd party suppliers for development, Integration and test. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders and establish and exercise escalation path when necessary. Understanding of Automotive SW product cycle and key SW OS technology are a key plus when engaging in strategic planning and solving issues that require reconciling multiple approaches with different parties.

  • Having ADAS knowledge and having in depth understanding and experience in ADAS SW development cycle along with functional safety is a must.
  • Making decisions that are significant in impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives.
  • Work on driving pre-silicon activities for new SoC development, working with stakeholders across organizations for strategy and activities involving design reviews and detailed work breakdown structure to put together a execution plan.
  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels.
  • Some financial accountabilities (e.g., manage a small budget, has input into P&L).
  • Having a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, discuss involvement of business processes and drives decisions necessary for on time delivery.
  • Manages and takes responsibility for multiple programs/technology with moderate complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines.
  • Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record for multiple medium sized programs which include schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholders' identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, and prioritization.
  • Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action to ensure program success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.
  • Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand for multiple medium sized programs with moderate complexity.
  • Drives teams to identify program issues/risks, and create a risk mitigation plan for multiple medium sized or single complex program(s).
  • Promotes program vision and objectives within the team, ensures program objectives are met or exceeded, presents program vision to management, and gains buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives across the Program Management team.
  • Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution).
  • Develops, redesigns organizational strategies, and provides overall direction for various functional areas and/or entire organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
  • 10 to 15 years Program Management experience or related work experience.
  • 8 to 10+ years' experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
  • 3 to 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
  • Experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, Salesforce etc.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Experience and familiarity with automotive SW OS platforms and drive stack is preferable.
  • Any knowledge of automotive processes such as ASPICE preferable.
