About The Position

The role of Director, Associate General Counsel, Privacy is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing international legal team working on unique legal issues at the forefront of the adtech industry in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • J.D. degree from ABA accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing of an applicable state bar.
  • 12+ years of legal experience.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining data governance and/or privacy compliance programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of US state privacy laws and European privacy regulations.
  • Some exposure to legal issues in the Information Security space.
  • Experience with complex dataflows and technology.

  • Familiarity with legal issues impacting the digital advertising ecosystem.

  • Ability to design and project-manage effective processes.
  • Interest in current events in the Privacy and Data Governance community.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the company's data governance program.
  • Act as the main legal advisor for the Information Security team.
  • Draft and maintain external data privacy disclosures and internal privacy documentation.
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Trust & Safety, and other cross-functional data teams to enhance internal legal policies.
  • Counsel the Product team on data compliance product designs.
  • Build and standardize internal information sharing and record-keeping workflows.
  • Support the Information Security team on personal data-related matters, including data breach and incident response policies.
