About The Position

Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! - We are seeking a leader to lead and grow ASIC design teams developing next-generation silicon for space-based communication systems. This role will drive delivery of high-performance, power-efficient, and reliable ASICs and SoCs used in modem, baseband, beamforming, networking, and payload-processing applications. Depending on level, the role may lead a design team focused on a major subsystem or provide broader organizational leadership across multiple silicon programs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Significant experience in ASIC/SoC digital design and technical leadership.
  • Experience managing teams or leading large engineering efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of RTL design, integration, and ASIC development methodology.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical execution in complex hardware programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in digital communications silicon.
  • Experience with modem, baseband, DSP, beamforming, or networking ASICs.
  • Familiarity with aerospace or high-reliability system development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ASIC design execution across architecture, RTL development, integration, and tape-out support.
  • Coordinate closely with verification, systems, firmware, physical design, DFT, RF/analog, and validation teams.
  • Drive design quality, schedule predictability, technical reviews, and risk management.
  • Support talent development, hiring, mentoring, and organizational growth.
  • Contribute to long-term silicon strategy, platform reuse, and roadmap planning.
