About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems, driving innovation and enabling data-driven decision-making through scalable platforms and intelligent systems. Works closely with various departments to leverage AI and ML technologies to gain business insights and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, a related field, or four years of related work experience is required.
  • Minimum of ten years’ professional experience in information systems, with at least five years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence is required.
  • Prior experience in leading and managing technical teams is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts.
  • Strong understanding of unstructured data and non-relational storage technologies.
  • Proficiency in multiple statistical computer languages (Python, R, C#/.NET) and ML/AI libraries (e.g., pandas, ML.NET).
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks) and advanced statistical concepts (regression, properties of distributions).
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate technical excellence into feasible strategies that serve long-term business goals.
  • Strong organizational, project, and resource management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement.

  • Graduate or Doctorate Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related computational science field is preferred.

  • Leads and manages the AI and ML team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develops and implements AI and ML strategies that align with the organization's business goals.
  • Oversees the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML systems and technologies.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging AI and ML to gain business insights and solve complex problems.
  • Ensures effective collection, aggregation, and analysis of large, unstructured data sets.
  • Creates and maintains predictive models and custom data algorithms to meet various business needs.
  • Develops visual interfaces and presentation models for data analysis and insights.
  • Keeps the organization informed about emerging AI and ML technologies and trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Provides mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Uses data and metrics to measure team progress, analyze trends, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Communicates technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Partners with other departments to integrate AI and ML solutions into business processes.
  • Promotes and implements continuous improvement initiatives; gathers data to measure the support process, identifies areas for improvement, institutionalizes technical expertise, and eliminates recurring problems through analysis, technology, and research.
  • Makes management hiring decisions through a targeted selection process of behavioral interviewing to obtain future leaders.
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads leaders through clear expectations and line of sight to business strategy with solid understanding of operations.
  • Builds inclusive and collaborative partnerships across multiple departments, with various approaches to influence and plan work around common goals.
  • Makes decisions and communicates in a way that connects people, tasks, and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Supports the business by building high performing teams, coaching leaders through team development, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Sets high standards and expectations for achieving goals.
  • Develops and executes plans with input from multiple teams, establishing accountability and clarity.
  • Creates measurements and performance indicators for monitoring progress and holds teams accountable to achieving business results.
