About The Position

This is an end-to-end Technical Solution Architecture role that spans across multiple product areas within the Money Movement domain. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and technology leadership to define interim and target architectures, roadmaps, and blueprints, aiming to deliver technical products that enable business capabilities for clients. The role involves working on all aspects of architecture, including infrastructure, data, security, resilience, integration, and performance, to build next-generation software components within a high-volume FinTech environment. The Director will partner with business sponsors, product owners, engineers, and other architects in an agile (scrum) setting to design, test, and implement technology solutions, while also mentoring engineers using established architecture standards and guidelines. As part of the architecture team, this individual will champion innovation, drive standardization, and implement modern technology patterns across the technology stack, contributing to product roadmaps and influencing the business vision.

Requirements

• Solid computer science foundation
• Effective combination of interpersonal and technical skills
• Passion for learning and expanding in various technologies
• Demonstrated experience in integration projects
• Familiarity with industry standard integration patterns with focus on reusability and scale when it comes to building and deploying capabilities
• 6+ years’ experience designing/developing APIs
• Proven track record as a Solution Architect designing and building scalable solutions
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Experience with various architecture styles such as SOA & Micro-Services
• Experience in cloud technologies and practices, building and deploying applications using either AWS or Azure or both
• Experience in all aspects of AWS cloud computing environments
• Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture, design, and implementation
• Experience in full-stack development of N-tiered applications
• Experience developing applications using Java, Python, and Angular
• Working knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF & Amazon Well-Architected Framework
• Passion for technology, not limiting yourself to a set of languages or frameworks
• Track record of critical thinking and translating business needs into technology solutions
• Strong presentation skills; written and verbal communication including the ability to influence
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player across organizations

Responsibilities
