We're here for it. We think you should be too. We're looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as a Director, Architecture - Marketing Technology. This position is fully remote. This role is an Individual Contributor/People leader position. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director, Architecture, who will drive the overall strategy, design, and implementation of our marketing technology (MarTech) ecosystem. This individual acts as a bridge between CRM, Marketing, Technology, and business leaders, ensuring that the technology stack is scalable, integrated, secure, aligned to business goals. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology landscape by leading the design and implementation of architectural solutions that enable us to deliver highly personalized and impactful customer experiences.

  • Develop and lead the long-term strategic architectural vision for the company's marketing technology stack.
  • Identify new technologies and trends, and advise on how to evolve the ecosystem to remain competitive.
  • Design and implement a scalable and secure MarTech architecture that seamlessly integrates with existing business systems.
  • Define technical standards and best practices for the selection and use of marketing technologies in collaboration with other architects to ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of various marketing platforms, including Customer Data Platforms, Orchestration Engines, Personalization Engine, Content Management Systems, Digital Asset Management, Measurement and Analytics tools.
  • Act as a key liaison between marketing, technology, sales, and data/analytics teams, partnering with product management and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable architectural initiatives and oversee their successful execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying abreast of emerging architectural trends, supporting and evolving architectural standards, identifying opportunities for automation and personalization, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and managing a complex, enterprise-level MarTech stack that delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven experience with identifying and helping manage architectural risks, technical debt, and interdependencies, contributing to mitigation strategies.
  • Experience defining Enterprise Technology strategy: designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of the MarTech landscape and key platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration, APIs, and data governance in a marketing context.
  • Ability to architect and document complex solutions that integrate diverse systems and technologies.
  • Proficiency in various software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps, and the ability to apply them to project needs.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, customer journey and personalized experiences, and campaign execution.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise's business strategy and operations, with the ability to align architecture with business goals.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture or equivalent technical fields, with a track record of leading significant initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in management roles overseeing engineering or architecture teams.
  • Minimum Starting Rate: $175,000.00 Annually
  • Up to: $220,000.00 Annually
  • In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
