About The Position

In the role of Director, Application Team Air Springs, you will be responsible for defining and executing the global customer strategy. This includes aligning and achieving the Target Business Plan in collaboration with the Sales team, focusing on winning target business and substituting lost business through opportunity business to ensure long-term sustainable and profitable growth. You will monitor and assure the profitability of all customer-related projects throughout their lifecycle, with a focus on contribution margin. As a key contact for the customer's Engineering team, you will maintain a close relationship and lead, develop, and coach your Application Team to achieve maximum effectiveness and best-in-class results by utilizing available resources effectively. You will lead projects in accordance with Vibracoustic procedures (APQP/VCProMaP) and take full responsibility for project results in terms of quality, cost, and timing from the RFQ (Request for Quotation) phase to EOP (End of Production). Additionally, you will manage change management processes, realize value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) ideas, and solve development-related customer concerns regarding time, quality, and cost. Supporting problem-solving for serial production quality issues will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work on innovation and global standardization projects in collaboration with Product Engineering and execute Vibracoustic's strategic initiatives while supporting organizational development projects.
