About The Position

As a Director Applications/Systems Sales Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization by leading a team of highly skilled data analysts, solution architects, and software consultants. You will collaborate with various departments to drive the sales of our complex application and system solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet sales targets, providing technical expertise, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will report directly to our VP - Sales and you will work remotely for a role based out of our Mason, Oh location. In this role, you will impact the growth of our organization by building the Intelligrated presales consulting team, enhancing customer engagement, and driving sales orders through a combination of data analysis, simulation, software design, and other innovative approaches. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 8+ years of material handling and/or consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of success in software, design and/or sales leadership.
  • Strong technical background in application and systems consulting.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis, simulation, and software design.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Expertise in automated storage and retrieval (ASRS), autonomous mobile robots (AMR), conveyor and or robotics.
  • Dynamic and self-motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of solution architects, data analysts, simulation engineers and software architects.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and the Honeywell Intelligrated sales team.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth across the Honeywell Intelligrated business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Enhance the scientific approach to material handling that is data driven.
  • Develop consulting processes, products, and offerings that establish Honeywell Intelligrated as a leading material handling thought leader.
  • Further develop the simulation and emulation capabilities of Honeywell Intelligrated.
  • Provide expertise in our products and partnerships to present innovative solutions.
