About The Position

The Director of Managed Application Services is a high-visibility leadership role within our IT organization responsible for the day-to-day operation, resiliency, and continuous delivery of Freshpet’s business-critical systems. You will lead the teams responsible for ERP Administration, Technology Services (EDI), and Technology Delivery (Developers & Partners), ensuring that all technical builds align with organizational goals and are met with the highest standards. This is also a "Player-Coach" role that requires a blend of hands-on technical guidance, rigorous change control governance, and exceptional organizational communication.

Requirements

Experience: At least 15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing ERP, and EDI teams & environments.
Industry Context (7+ years): Deep understanding of the Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, specifically inventory management, supply chain workflows, finance, and other key areas in a manufacturing environment.
ERP Expertise (10 years): Deep familiarity with major ERP platforms. While Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is highly preferred, extensive experience with other well-known ERP’s (i.e. SAP or Oracle) is acceptable.
Governance & Change Control: At least 5 years’ experience managing technology teams responsible for the administration and operation of ERP in a publicly traded company including direct support of financial systems audits.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
