The Investments and Trading Engineering (ITE) team engages with our Investment Departments across the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) and Blackrock Global Market (BGM) to understand their analytical and technological needs from a fixed income perspective. The role involves building a deep understanding of the investment process, modelling requirements and the ability to deliver advanced applied analytical solutions. This candidate will oversee a cohesive strategy to continually evolve the agenda of PAG (Portfolio Analytics Group) to deliver high-impact solutions and, the delivery of proprietary python applications that complement core Aladdin tools. Join a diverse and collaborative team of technologists responsible for the research and development of applied solutions produced for BlackRock. This group is part of the Investments and Trading Engineering (ITE) division which contributes more generally to the infrastructure platform, production of analytics, and the delivery of content to portfolio and risk management professionals (both within and outside BlackRock). Given the diversity of business objectives within BlackRock and across the external Aladdin client community, the models developed and supported by ITE span a wide array of financial products (equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, and private markets).
