About The Position

The Director, Analytics Transformation & Insights Operations leads the modernization of how analytics is delivered across the organization. This leader oversees a distributed team of Analysts who support urgent business needs while driving the evolution toward more standardized, scalable, and AI‑enabled insights. They champion the adoption of AI and advanced analytics, improve ways of working across the analytics team, and partner with the Senior Director of Business Intelligence to shape and operationalize our transformation roadmap. This role is ideal for a leader who can uplift analytics maturity, strengthen analyst capabilities, and help the business transition from reactive reporting to consistent, insight‑driven decision‑making.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years in analytics, BI, product development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams of analysts or similar roles.
  • Background modernizing analytics, improving ways of working, or driving operational change.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and ability to champion adoption in business contexts.
  • Experience navigating organizations with differing levels of data maturity.
  • Excellent people leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Strong operational mindset: process-driven, organized, and able to improve systems and workflows.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for business audiences.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and functional understanding of SQL.
  • Balanced ability to manage day-to-day operations while driving transformational improvements.
  • English required; French or Spanish favourable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical field required.

  • Advanced degree (MMA, MMIA, BA, etc.) from a top tier educational institution strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Insights Operations Leadership Lead and develop the Data & Business Analysts supporting specific markets. Ensure timely, accurate, and business-relevant insights for both strategic initiatives and urgent, ad hoc requests. Standardize analytical methods, quality expectations, storytelling, and delivery frameworks across analysts. Improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability of analytics outputs across business functions. Serve as the primary escalation point for prioritization, resource allocation, and complex analytical requests.
  • Analytics Transformation & Ways of Working Modernize and streamline how analytics is performed, documented, and delivered. Introduce new processes, templates, and best practices to drive higher consistency and maturity. Strengthen collaboration between analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders. Implement rituals, governance, and shared practices that transition the team from reactive work to a scalable, proactive operating model. Identify skills gaps and drive training, upskilling, and capability building across the analyst community.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement Champion AI and advanced analytics use cases, helping teams understand available tools, models, and capabilities. Advise on where AI can enhance productivity, insight reliability, and decision‑making. Partner with Product teams to ensure new models are usable, interpretable, and successfully integrated into workflows. Support adoption by helping business teams interpret outputs, embed insights, and measure value realization.
  • Business Partner Engagement & Advisory Support Act as a trusted advisor to market leaders and stakeholders. Ensure business partners receive reliable analytics support while helping them transition toward more scalable, product‑oriented solutions. Manage expectations and offer clear, structured communication on priorities, trade‑offs, and timelines. Build strong relationships with stakeholders who may be skeptical of new operating models or AI-driven solutions.
  • Transformation Strategy Support Partner with the Senior Director, BI, to shape the analytics transformation roadmap. Provide input on priorities, feasibility, and operational implications of analytics strategy decisions. Help translate high‑level strategy into practical, repeatable processes and clear implementation steps for analysts. Ensure operational readiness for new analytics capabilities, tools, and AI solutions.
  • Culture, Coaching & Analytics Community Building Mentor analysts and emerging leaders on problem framing, structure, data storytelling, and stakeholder influence. Promote data literacy and foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and responsible AI usage. Build a cohesive community across analysts working in different regions, levels, or business functions.
