About The Position

The Director, Alternative Investments at Fidelity Investments is responsible for leading the AI Investor Relations team, focusing on various alternative product portfolios such as Limited Partnerships, REITs, BDCs, Interval Funds, and Crypto. This role involves collaborating with multiple channels to support product launches, enhance servicing processes, and drive innovation to meet customer needs in the alternative investment sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the financial industry, particularly in alternative investments.
• Experience managing performance and analyzing operational data.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset, detail-oriented.
• Direct managerial experience is highly desired.
• Ability to lead projects and develop service models for alternative products.
• Sophisticated problem-solving skills with functional/process implications.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in finance or investment management.
• Experience with operational service aspects of alternative investments.

Responsibilities

• Support roadmaps across various alternative product portfolios and structures.
• Work closely with Fidelity channels on product launches and servicing processes.
• Drive innovation to ensure product lines meet evolving customer needs.
• Refine and improve service business plans for alternative fund servicing strategy.
• Provide support to sales and relationship management functions with expertise in alternatives.
• Assist client service functions with operational queries and product support.
• Identify and remediate product/service gaps and deficiencies across channels.
• Act as a knowledge source on industry initiatives and long-term product improvements.
• Manage day-to-day operations and provide mentorship to a team of operational associates.
