About The Position

The Sr. Director of AI Product Management at Microsoft will lead the planning and roadmap for AI Silicon that powers Microsoft Cloud and CoPilots. This role combines technical expertise with strategic business insight, focusing on driving critical Silicon and hardware programs from concept through production. The position is part of the Strategic Planning and Advanced Architecture Team (SPARC) within the Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure (AHSI) organization, which is responsible for Microsoft's expanding cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in Silicon, AI, or similar fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in a cross-functional role.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for next-gen AI Silicon and platform.
  • Drive executive decision-making for new investments, including competitive analysis and risk management strategies.
  • Manage complex project schedules, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth processes.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects, engineering, finance, and business teams for end-to-end program development.
  • Identify and prioritize customer needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Take ownership of the product area and advocate for customer needs while meeting business goals.
  • Develop and maintain technical proficiency in AI workload requirements.
  • Interact with senior management to highlight risks and provide recommendations.
  • Drive adoption of silicon and platforms with customers and internal teams.
