As a Research Scientist Director on the generative AI team at Meta, you can help bring the transformative potential of generative AI to people and businesses around the world as we build a new class of generative AI experiences. These experiences enable consumer, business and creator agents that help connect and create in new ways not imagined before.

Requirements

10+ years of technical industry experience
Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance management

Nice To Haves

Experience holding a faculty, industry, or government researcher position in a role with primary emphasis on AI research
PhD in the following fields: Computer Vision, Robotics, State Estimation, 3D Reconstruction, Object Tracking, Physics based models, or a related field

Responsibilities

Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient
Partner & collaborate with organization leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team & organization
Contribute to research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio and other modalities)
Help Advance the science and technology of intelligent machines
Provide both technical and organizational leadership
