The Director of AI Enablement will be a strategic leader who will play a key role in Entergy's drive to leverage AI (including generative AI, and data analytics) to achieve its Path-to-Premier goals. The Director will develop and lead an enablement and democratization strategy and vision centered on defining and executing a comprehensive approach to make AI accessible across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, digital transformation goals, and responsible AI principles. This involves partnering with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities for low-code and no-code AI, automation, and AI-assisted decision-making while establishing success metrics to measure adoption, impact, and ethical compliance. In support of this vision, the role oversees the deployment of enterprise AI enablement platforms that provide safe, scalable access to generative AI, machine learning, and automation tools. Working closely with IT, Data, and Security teams, the individual ensures that the necessary infrastructure, data access, and governance guardrails are in place to support widespread AI use. They also evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies to foster innovation and operational efficiency across business units. A strong emphasis is placed on responsible AI usage. The individual collaborates with Risk, Compliance, Human Resources, and Legal teams to ensure that democratized AI usage adheres to ethical, privacy, and regulatory standards. They define and communicate clear policies, usage guidelines, and approval workflows for AI tools and applications, while implementing monitoring processes to assess model fairness, transparency, and performance in citizen-led AI initiatives. Education, literacy, and culture are critical pillars of AI democratization. The role involves developing and leading enterprise AI literacy, training, and certification programs designed to build confidence and capability among non-technical employees. It also includes fostering communities of practice and internal evangelism programs to share AI use cases, best practices, and success stories to embed AI skills within talent development frameworks. Finally, the role drives change management and adoption efforts, fostering an organizational mindset that embraces AI as a collaborative "co-pilot" in daily operations. Partnering with business leaders, the individual identifies and scales practical use cases that deliver tangible value from democratized AI adoption, measuring adoption rates, user satisfaction, and business outcomes to continuously refine enablement strategies and ensure sustained impact.
