About The Position
The Director of Disability Access and ADA Compliance is responsible for organizing and implementing the City's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it pertains to the built environment. This role acts as a liaison between various City departments to facilitate ADA compliance, coordinates the City's ADA Team Task Force, and provides technical assistance to both public and private agencies regarding ADA issues. The position also involves establishing citywide policies to ensure adherence to ADA standards.
