About The Position

As Director of Ad Operations, you will be responsible for establishing and managing our new Media organization's entire ad operations function, on a global basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of digital campaigns across our platform, while also contributing to the development of best practices and scalable processes. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of digital media, ad tech, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building something from the ground up. This is a hybrid role which requires at least 3 days a week onsite in our (brand new!) Framingham, MA office.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital media or advertising operations, preferably within a sell side environment (retailer, publisher, ad tech, ad network, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to shape a service offering and deliver customer success.
  • Deep understanding of ad tech and media platforms.
  • Experience with ad trafficking, campaign management, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing teams and cross functional support structures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full campaign lifecycle, from trafficking and implementation to monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
  • Become the expert on our ad and martech technology stacks, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad serving, tracking, and reporting.
  • Generate and analyze campaign performance reports, identifying trends and insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Work with the sales team to forecast and manage ad inventory, ensuring optimal utilization and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Establish and document best practices for ad operations, creating scalable processes for campaign management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
