The Director of Insights will be responsible for developing and leading the reporting & insights in support of strategic efforts both internally and externally by identifying ways to maximize advertiser media investment, bringing innovative ideas, and deeper knowledge of the customer we serve. In addition to managing a future team, responsibilities include managing Marketing/Measurement analysts driving standard reports and insights, identifying Marketing and industry analytics needs, formulating recommendations for cross-functional teams including Sales, Digital Marketing, Planning & Buying, and Ad product, overseeing omnichannel efforts, and aggregating all sources of insights to support Sales/Category strategy (including Digital and non-digital media efforts). The role also involves engaging with clients as a thought leader/contributor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Digital Analytics Management, Digital Marketing Insights, or Reporting Management role at a publisher, ad network, or retail media network in a consultative experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience or in a leadership individual contributor role.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Retail analytics experience (Nielsen or IRI) is a plus; basic to intermediate level of SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Expert in analytical tools and statistical models, with the ability to create a system for data science translation into business terms.
