About The Position

The Director 2 of SPED Division Support will oversee the work of Coordinators supporting campuses and divisions with SPED related compliance functions, fulfilling all job functions of a Director 1, and also supervise the Director of SOAR and oversee SOAR strategic programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 to 5 years
• Experience as a Special Education Administrator at the campus or district level required.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a School Administrator recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead department staff to ensure 100% compliance with IDEA requirements.
• Progress monitor initiative implementation and strategize for improvement.
• Communicate with district leadership and make recommendations for strategy.
• Oversee SOAR Director and SOAR programming.
• Other duties as assigned.
