About The Position

The Direct to Patient Specialist I is responsible for inside sales of Inogen products to oxygen patients through various communication channels. This role focuses on generating new business, addressing customer needs, and collaborating with other sales specialists to meet corporate sales objectives. The specialist aims to enhance the adoption of Inogen products while ensuring high levels of customer service and compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent training, education, and experience.
• 1-3 years of sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and solutions-oriented problem solver.
• Impeccable phone etiquette and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated mastery of Level I role with a minimum of 90 days at or above 80% goal achievement.
• Successful completion of Level II training including Medicare/Rental Sales Training.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with patients by understanding their diverse needs for respiratory care and our products.
• Organize incoming leads, create strategic call plans, implement calls, and actively transition sales leads.
• Respond to incoming patient calls, emails, and requests for information in a timely manner.
• Work with teammates to transition leads to Durable Medical Equipment provider partners.
• Accurately record customer information, activities, and updates in the CRM system to reflect performance metrics.
• Ensure timely and accurate entering of sales orders and processing of credit card payments.
• Strive to meet or exceed goals for call volume and cash sales targets.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance and comply with all company policies and procedures.
