About The Position
Lifesteps is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Workers to work in the Canonsburg, PA area. Lifesteps has been helping individuals with disabilities improve their quality of life for over 100 years! You can be a part of their success story! Lifesteps has immediate openings in the Canonsburg / Cecil Township location. Caregivers have the satisfaction of knowing their service to others help people with disabilities lead happier, more fulfilled lives. Caregivers assist individuals with activities of daily living; such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, medication administration, and goal attainment. Work is performed in a residential home environment. No experience necessary! Paid training provided! Experienced Caregivers also welcome! Full-time and Part-time positions available. Full-time Evening Shift (3pm to 11pm) currently available. Part-time hours available are Evenings or Overnights (11pm to 7am). Flexible scheduling options are available for part-time hours.
Requirements
- 18 yrs. or older
- Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Home Care, as a Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is helpful but Not Required
