About The Position

Methodist Home for Children (MHC) is looking for committed people to join our team as Direct Support Staff in our Multipurpose Home in Lumberton, NC—a residential facility that changes lives and sets teens on the right path. This role involves being a positive role model for youth in crisis, providing daily support and structure in a group home setting, helping teens develop life skills, change behavior, and build brighter futures, and working as part of a live-in care team in a high-impact environment.

Requirements

• 21 or older with a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with youth or in a structured care setting
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Be a positive role model for youth in crisis
• Provide daily support and structure in a group home setting
• Help teens develop life skills, change behavior, and build brighter futures
