DIRECT SUPPORT SPECIALIST Part-time
About The Position
Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Residential Support Specialists (DSPs) at our residential program in Demarest, NJ. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, helping them build daily living skills, independence, and confidence in a supportive residential setting. Your work directly contributes to improving quality of life and fostering meaningful independence.
Requirements
- Must be 20 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass: State and Federal criminal background checks Drug screening Pre-employment physical and PPD
- Willingness to complete all required orientation and pre-service training
