About The Position
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for delivering quality one-on-one services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) in both home and community environments. This role involves implementing goals as outlined in the Person Centered Plan, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating with other members of the individual's multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include completing all necessary documentation in accordance with state and program regulations, as well as Aveanna Healthcare policies and procedures. Training will be provided and paid for by the company, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the field without prior experience.
