About The Position

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join Merakey’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Division in Beaver County. In this role, you will support individuals in living fulfilling, self-directed lives by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement, while completing assignments as outlined by the House Manager.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Related experience is helpful.
A current and valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment, including housekeeping and laundry
Support individuals in leisure activities, vocational tasks, and day programming
Follow assigned shift routines, schedules, and care plans
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
Work under the supervision of the House Manager, with performance reviewed through: Observation of daily activities Resident engagement and responsiveness Living area inspections Reports and periodic meetings
