About The Position
1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Syracuse (EE-GS) A 51-year-old female is looking for a DSP in the Syracuse area to support her with increasing her independent living skills such as adding her appointments and bill due dates in her appointment book as reminders and increasing her organizational skills; as well as participating in hobbies and interests. She enjoys shopping, home decor, cooking, going to the YMCA and would like to find activities to do in the community. She also enjoys holidays, wrestling, music and eating out at her favorite restaurants. The ideal candidate is motivating, active, and friendly. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency. Hours and days of work: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, anytime. Starting pay: CH 1 - Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Location: Syracuse, NY
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community
- Must have a valid drivers license

- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.

Nice To Haves
