About The Position

ARISE/EFR is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Cicero area with a young man who requires assistance. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with social skills, safety concerns, exercise, and general independence. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours available include afterschool evenings, weekends, and school breaks. Flexibility to fill in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $22 per hour, with potential for a higher pay rate for the right candidate. ARISE/EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
