We offer: + Competitive Pay: $17.75-$20.24/hr based on experience, education, and shift + Earn extra: $1/hr with an active NADSP Level 1 Certification; up to $0.50/hr in shift differentials; an additional $0.29/hr if an active CNA. + Flexible Pay Access : Get up to 50% of your earnings before payday with PayActiv + Multiple Shifts: Full-time, part-time and on-call. Days (7am-3pm), Evenings (3pm-11pm), Overnights (11pm-7am), & Weekend Only Options! + Multiple Locations: Tobyhanna, Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg, Scranton, Dickson City, Mount Pocono, Newfoundland, Greentown, Cresco and Canadensis. As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supporting daily routines and community outings, attending training sessions, and completing special assignments as directed by the coordinator. Devereux Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year preferred of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.
Assisting with hygiene
Supporting daily routines and community outings
Attending training sessions
