About The Position
Creed Medical is searching for compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide dedicated care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this important role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and help improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and encourage meaningful participation in community activities. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain post-hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks.
- Support clients in developing life and social skills, encouraging independence.
- Facilitate community integration and participation in recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any health or behavioral changes.
