About The Position

Self-Direction DSP - Liverpool Area (Job #JP-ZC) ARISE/EFR is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Liverpool area with a friendly and kind young man. He is looking for opportunities at his home and in his community for recreation and socialization with support from staff. He is most successful with verbal assistance and maintains independence with many tasks. He's seeking a reliable staff to assist him with opportunities to explore his community. Responsibilities may include discussions on interests and hobbies, participating alongside him in chosen activities, monitoring for safety, working on his goal-based activities. His interests include shopping and hiking. He is currently employed and would like staff on his days off, which include Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays (daytime, potentially 10 am-4, pm can be flexible for the right staff). We are looking for individuals who are friendly, reliable, and patient. Prior experience a plus but willing to train. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Hiring for 20 hours a week, with flexibility if necessary for the right fit. Additional opportunities may be available within the agency to build on these hours. Requirements

Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
