About The Position

Rescare Community Living of North Central Indiana has partnered with WorkOne of Hamilton County & will be hosting an Open Interview Day for Caregivers & Site Leads, on Wednesday January 21st. No appointment needed or experience required; first-time job seekers encouraged to apply. Start your new position the following Tuesday! Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license & acceptable MVR, be able to pass state & company required background checks, have a compassionate & caring demeanor to assist adults with developmental & intellectual dissabilities in their home(s). Full-Time & Part-Time positions available: $15-$17.60 per hour; Paid training & certifications. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
- acceptable MVR
- be able to pass state & company required background checks
- have a compassionate & caring demeanor to assist adults with developmental & intellectual dissabilities in their home(s)
Responsibilities
- Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
- Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
