Per Diem Adult Medical Homes Direct Support Professional
About The Position
KenCrest is seeking Direct Support Professionals to participate in the care of residents in their Adult Community Medical Homes (CMH). These homes provide a home-care environment for four medically fragile adults with intellectual disabilities. Care Teams provide 24/7 full circle care to meet all social, medical, and emotional needs of the residents, providing them with opportunities for the highest quality life possible. The role involves assisting residents with all activities of daily living, participating in and carrying out developmental activities, implementing goal plans and behavioral management programs, assisting with meal preparation, general housekeeping functions, and transportation for social and medical appointments, while providing overall support to the residents and the program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements

- Experience with medically fragile individuals and/or individuals with disabilities
