About The Position

We currently have openings for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our Independent Habilitation settings. DSPs provide hands-on support to individuals in residential sites—helping with daily living, following service plans, and keeping homes safe and comfortable. SPECIFIC TO SLEEP NIGHTS ONLY: We currently have openings for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our Independent Habilitation settings working overnight. DSPs provide hands-on support to individuals in residential sites—helping with daily living, following service plans, and keeping homes safe and comfortable. There is a wage differential with Sleep Night shifts as they are positions that allow you to sleep at work! From 11P-6A the wage is $8.00 per hour. Why work with HIT? Requirements

  • Requires knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
  • Must have knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions.
  • Must possess good observation skills and relate observations accurately, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic computer operations.
  • Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become a medication technician and CPR, First Aid and DD certified as required for the position.
