About The Position

Arise is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Liverpool area with a 16 year old girl, on weekends. She is diagnosed with a developmental/intellectual disability. She enjoys exploring parks, trampoline parks, zoos, and other recreational settings. She enjoys being around animals and volunteering. She’s very social and likes to be around others/make friends. This individual is energetic, friendly, and happy. She communicates verbally. She walks independently. The pay rate for this position is $20/hour. Days and times for this position are flexible. Seeking a staff for up to 5 hours during the weekend. An example of a weekly shift could be: Saturdays 1-5pm. Training is provided through this agency. The DSP will drive this person to her preferred activities and participate alongside her. The DSP will work with her in her home and her community. The individual is looking for a dedicated and active staff to assist her with learning skills for independence and assistance to pursue hobbies and interests. Examples of this may include: counting money, researching activities, volunteering with animals, attending kickboxing or crossfit. We are looking for individuals who are reliable. Prior experience is not a requirement. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Mileage accrued while with the individual is reimbursed. Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license

Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
