About The Position

Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to become Direct Support Professionals at their facilities in the Portland area. Learn to deliver care to adults with intellectual disabilities and jumpstart a fulfilling career with plenty of opportunity for advancement. Help clients develop and strengthen interpersonal and coping skills, while guiding them in creating positive relationships with family and peers. In this role, you will serve as an invaluable role model to adults with disabilities. This per diem position requires a DSP certification, a CRMA certification, and the ability to work one shift per month.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• DSP and CRMA certifications
• All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy
• Ability to work one shift per month

Responsibilities

• Provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities in agency homes, including medication administration
• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
• Community integration
• Providing positive behavioral supports
