About The Position

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in our Crafton, PA locations. POSITION DETAILS This role provides individualized support to residents in a residential setting, assisting with daily living activities, community involvement, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment. Work is performed under the supervision of the House Manager, and staff are expected to follow assigned shift routines and daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism
• Ability to lift and transfer residents (50+ lbs as needed)
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and supervision
• Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork
• Valid Driver’s License required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to occasionally lift or exert up to 100 lbs
• Ability to frequently lift or exert up to 50 lbs
• Ability to continuously lift or exert 20 lbs or more

Nice To Haves

• Related experience is preferred and considered beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene
• Provide individualized, person-centered care and active treatment
• Support residents in social, recreational, work, and day program activities
• Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining living areas
• Promote resident safety, well-being, and independence
• Transport and accompany residents to appointments, community activities, or emergencies as needed
• Administer medications upon completion of required training
• Complete accurate documentation, daily notes, and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings and required trainings
