About The Position

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting. What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting? Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like: Cooking Doing laundry Running errands Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Taking individuals to appointments and activities
• Writing notes as needed.
• Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
• Other duties as need
