About The Position

Currently seeking: Direct Support Professional Positions Who we need: Friendly, caring, energetic, patient and reliable candidates who are passionate about working to make a difference in other people’s lives. Candidates are matched with specific participants based on compatibility. What you do: Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities. Ensure they are in a clean, safe, healthy environment at all times by: Help participants meet their individual goals through skill-building, personal care, and community involvement. Training and supervision provided.
Requirements
- caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- must be at least 18 years old
- must have high school diploma (or equivalent)
- must pass criminal background and drug screening
- must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
Nice To Haves
- experience with IDD clients preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as proper hygiene and personal care.
- Administer medications timely and document.
- Transport individuals to activities in the community.
- Maintain documentation of daily goals using an online system.
- Rotating cleaning schedules.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
- Effectively communicate with other team members.
