About The Position
Self-Direction DSP -Oswego Area (Job #JF-JB) ARISE/EFR is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man in the Oswego area. The DSP would engage in activities with him in the community. Other responsibilities include providing transportation, teaching, and assisting with independent living skills and supporting him while engaged in his preferred activities. Work hours: Monday through Friday; Flexible times, about 6 to 8 hours per day (excluding holidays) Pay rate is $22 - $25 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
