SUMMARY: SAILS Washington employs appropriate individuals who ensure a high standard of quality and safety in the delivery of Residential Services and who coordinate the provision of services consistent with SAILS Washington philosophy of care. PER DIEM: Per Diem roles are “on-call” or “as needed” with the ability to pick up OPEN shifts or COVER as needed. Per Diem employees are required to pick up a minimum of (1) shift per week or (2) shifts per pay period to be considered an employee of SAILS Washington per our policy. Per Diem employees can work up to (31) hours a week, but cannot work more or will be considered a Full-Time employee and will have to move into Full-time status working a block schedule. PTO hours will not be accrued with this position. Previously accrued PTO hours cannot be used while in this role as your shifts will not be scheduled. In order to use PTO hours, you have to request PTO 2 weeks in advance for scheduled shifts. Per Diem employees will continue to accrue Sick time at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
