About The Position
Creed Medical is hiring compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and contribute to their overall well-being. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily activities.
- Support clients in developing life skills and participating in community events.
- Implement individualized care plans and record observations and progress.
- Create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
