About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at a program in Deptford, NJ. This opportunity is open to caregivers, direct care workers, home health aides, or individuals interested in these roles, with immediate hiring and paid training provided. The ideal DSP candidate will be passionate about making long-term impacts on individuals' lives, encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. This involves fostering independence by teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry. Work is performed under the supervision of a House Manager, who reviews progress through observation, resident responsiveness, living area inspections, reports, and meetings. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential

Nice To Haves

Prefer candidates have their own transportation
Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred
