About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at a program in Newark, DE. This role is ideal for individuals who are caregivers, direct care workers, or home health aides, or those aspiring to be one, as no experience is required and paid training is provided. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a long-term impact on individuals' lives, encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. DSPs will help foster independence by teaching daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry, and assisting with personal activities. The work is supervised by a House Manager. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential

Nice To Haves

Verifiable High School diploma/G.E. D preferred
Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred
