Join Easterseals PORT Health as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and play a vital role in empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential homes. As a DSP , you’ll bring your compassion, flexibility, and dedication to multiple group homes, providing consistent care and support where it’s needed most. Position details: Part Time (32 Hours) Every other weekend You are required to stay on site for the duration of your shift & clock out to sleep each night for 8hrs . Location: Marshville, NC Compensation: $15.00/hour Your Role in Our Mission You'll help the residents of the home with daily activities, employment support, and social engagement. You'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in gaining skills for greater independence at our group home and in the community; the ability to transport residents in a company vehicle is an essential job function.
