Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in direct care or human services is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required to be obtained post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in their participation in community activities and recreational programs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, monitoring clients' progress.
• Provide emotional support and assistance, acting as an advocate for client needs.
• Document activities, behaviors, and significant incidents accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
