Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- previous experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain post-hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and other daily living activities.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and social programs.
- Document progress and report any changes in behavior or health.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and team members to provide comprehensive care.
