About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at their program. This opportunity is for individuals who are caregivers, direct care workers, home health aides, or aspire to be one, with immediate hiring available. No experience is required as paid training is provided. The ideal DSP candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives, enjoying encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. The role involves fostering a sense of pride in individuals by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry. Work is performed under the supervision of the House Manager, who reviews results through observation, resident responsiveness, living area inspection, reports, and meetings. The position aims to enhance individuals' independence by assisting with daily and personal activities. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential

Nice To Haves

High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred
