About The Position
The successful candidate will work in individuals’ homes and be expected to: • Provide assistance and training to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community. • Follow a care plan for social activities. • Provide support with activities such as: cooking, cleaning, shopping, money management, personal hygiene and social activities. • Assist with physical transfer within the home or to vehicle. Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and own transportation is required with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Be able to establish effective relationships and provide hands on care.
- Be flexible and have good interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills.
